The National Observatory on Labour Market and Social Protection Affairs, under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population, recently hosted a meeting with Rainer Gerke and Mariana Matache, experts from the "Support to Implementation of National Qualification Framework in Azerbaijan" project.
During the meeting, the participants were briefed on the activities of the National Observatory, including its research efforts focused on labour market analysis and the identification of priority occupations.
The discussion also covered the future directions of the European Union-funded project, which aims to enhance the quality and relevance of Azerbaijan’s education and training system. The meeting explored potential areas for collaboration between the project and the National Observatory in the near future, focusing on strengthening the alignment between education and labour market needs.
