A scientific-practical conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev was held at Western Caspian University with the participation of the National Observatory on Labour Market and Social Protection Affairs, a body under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population.
The conference, themed "Training Competitive Specialists: The Main Goal of Modern Education," focused on Heydar Aliyev's significant contributions to the development of education and the training of national personnel. The event highlighted his historical role in shaping the education system in Azerbaijan and fostering the country's human capital.
Sannur Aliyev, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the National Observatory and Doctor of Philosophy in Economics, delivered a report on "Qualitative Analysis of the Labour Market in Azerbaijan," while Elnara Garibova, Chief Specialist of the Analysis and Research Division of the National Observatory, spoke on "Migration in the Context of Globalization."
Conference participants were also briefed on the activities of the National Observatory, including its research on the labour market and the identification of priority professions. The event featured a series of section meetings across eight different areas of focus.
