An online meeting was recently organised by the European Training Foundation (ETF), bringing together representatives from Azerbaijan’s National Observatory on Labour Market and Social Protection Affairs and the Czech National Observatory of Employment and Training.
During the session, the Azerbaijani delegation provided an overview of their observatory's role in analysing labour market dynamics and social protection trends to inform effective governance decisions. The Azerbaijani observatory also contributes to the development of curricula and training programs for specialists in collaboration with the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population.
In turn, the Czech National Observatory shared insights into its work, which includes gathering data on human resources development and examining the impacts of socio-economic changes on education and the labour market.
The meeting concluded with discussions on potential cooperation opportunities, including the exchange of best practices, joint projects aimed at improving the skills-matching system, and other initiatives to strengthen labour market policies in both countries.
