The National Observatory on Labour Market and Social Protection Affairs under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population has conducted a training session on “Combating Corruption” for the representatives of civil society institutions at its Training and Development Centre.
The session brought together more than 20 participants from 20 NGOs engaged in anti-corruption activities. The initiative aimed to further strengthen cooperation with civil society organisations working to promote transparency and accountability.
During the training, the participants received comprehensive information on the national and international legal frameworks governing anti-corruption efforts, the mechanisms currently applied, the role of public participation, and the functions of NGOs in this process.
The attendees also examined practical case studies highlighting effective approaches to combating corruption.
The training aimed to enhance civil society institutions’ awareness of existing legislation in the field of anti-corruption and to support the reinforcement of public oversight mechanisms.
