A five-day training course on Social Journalism, organized by the National Observatory on Labour Market and Social Protection Affairs under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population, has successfully concluded. The sessions were held at the National Observatory’s training centre and attended by representatives from 13 media organizations.
The training provided valuable insights into the services offered in areas such as labour, employment, social protection, disability and rehabilitation, and ongoing reforms in these sectors. Experienced professionals from various ministerial institutions shared their knowledge with media personnel, highlighting innovations, digital technologies, and future social objectives.
Participants were also introduced to relevant terminology and had the opportunity to ask questions, which were addressed by experts in the field.
At the closing event, Elnur Safarli, Chairman of the National Observatory's Board, spoke to the media representatives, emphasizing the importance of social journalism and its role in enhancing public awareness of social issues. He noted that the training aimed to boost media representatives' understanding of social sectors, improve their professionalism, and foster better collaboration with media outlets.
At the end of the course, participants were awarded certificates in recognition of their completion of the training.
