A Republican scientific-practical conference titled "Training Competitive Specialists: The Main Goal of Modern Education" was recently held at Western Caspian University, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev. Representatives from the National Observatory on Labour Market and Social Protection Affairs, under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population, participated in the event.
The conference highlighted Heydar Aliyev's significant contributions to the nation's independence, development, and educational reforms, particularly in the training of national personnel.
Sannur Aliyev, Deputy Chairman of the National Observatory’s Board and PhD holder, delivered a presentation on "Qualitative Analysis of the Labour Market in Azerbaijan," sharing insights into the Observatory’s activities and its research on the labour market, including the identification of priority occupations.
Elnara Garibova, Chief Specialist of the Analysis and Research Division, presented a report on the impact of migration in the context of globalization, exploring socio-economic processes linked to population migration in Azerbaijan and its effect on the labour market.
The event featured a series of section meetings across eight different areas of focus.
