The National Observatory on Labour Market and Social Protection Affairs hosted a meeting with the members of the Public Council under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population.
Elnur Safarli, Chairman of the Board of the National Observatory, informed the Council members about the activities and recent achievements of the Observatory. He noted that the Observatory is gaining international recognition for its contribution to labour market development, innovative approaches, and analytical capacity.
The strategic analyses, digital survey and monitoring systems implemented by the institution, as well as the advanced solutions it offers in the field of social protection, have been highly praised by international organizations and leading expert platforms.
The Public Council members were later briefed on the latest analyses and survey results. It was highlighted that based on studies aimed at ensuring the transition from the education system to the labour market, strategic employment areas, priority occupations, the most in-demand specialisations, and graduates’ employment indicators are being identified.
The proposals of Elshad Mammadov, Chairman of the Public Council, and other members were heard. The importance of regularly informing Council members in order to ensure public participation in the activities of the National Observatory was emphasised, followed by an exchange of views on the matter.
