The National Observatory on Labour Market and Social Protection Affairs has conducted a survey to assess the level of public awareness regarding cyberattacks. According to the analysis, 50% of respondents have experienced the theft of their card data.
The share of those subjected to cyberattacks involving bank cards stands at 11.7%, while other forms of cyber fraud account for 5.9%. In addition, 24.3% of participants stated that their awareness of cyber threats is low.
It was found that 40.8% of respondents take no measures to ensure their cybersecurity. At the same time, 53.9% indicated that they mainly obtain information on this topic from social networks. Only 21.4% expressed an interest in participating in cybersecurity trainings.
The purpose of the survey is to analyse the behavior of the population in the field of cybersecurity and contribute to the development of effective awareness-raising measures.
