Meeting Held with Banking Sector Representatives within the “DOST Inspector” Project

Within the framework of the “DOST Müfəttiş” (DOST Inspector) project, the National Observatory on Labour Market and Social Protection Affairs under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population, in cooperation with the Azerbaijan Banks Association (ABA), held a meeting with the representatives of the banking sector.

The meeting brought together the management from the National Observatory and the State Labour Inspection Service, ABA representatives, as well as delegates from leading local and international banks.

The participants received a detailed presentation outlining the scope of the project, applied methodologies, and key outcomes. The discussion also focused on the challenges and possible solutions related to the implementation of the “Labour and Employment” subsystem (ƏMAS) in the banking sector.

The event was emphasized as a significant step toward enhancing labour market transparency, protecting workers’ rights, and strengthening cooperation between employers and public institutions. Additionally, opportunities for collaboration with the banking sector within the framework of the project were explored.

The meeting aimed to inform the banking sector stakeholders about the project and support the promotion of proactive practices in labour relations regulation, occupational safety, and human resource management.
