A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the National Observatory on Labour Market and Social Protection Affairs under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population and the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC). The agreement was formalized by Elnur Safarli, Deputy Chairman of the National Observatory, and Adalat Muradov, Rector of UNEC.
During the signing ceremony, Safarli emphasized the role of the National Observatory as a think tank focused on labour, employment, and social protection, as well as its function as a training base for the Ministry. He also noted that the Observatory conducts in-depth analysis and research on various social issues. Under the terms of the MoU, the Observatory's leaders and specialists will organize "master classes" and lectures for UNEC students in several key areas.
Muradov highlighted the importance of this cooperation, stressing that the knowledge and experience gained in the social sphere would be crucial for students' successful integration into the labour market. He also underscored the significance of the partnership between the higher education institution and the National Observatory in fostering the professional development of students.
The MoU aims to enhance the adaptation of university graduates to the labour market and collaborate on analysing current trends in the field. Additionally, the agreement includes initiatives to promote awareness of national and social issues among young people, support the implementation of public participation systems, and prepare joint scientific and practical publications.
