A memorandum of understanding on cooperation was signed between the National Observatory on Labour Market and Social Protection Affairs and the Educational Student Loan Fund. The document was signed by Elnur Safarli, the Chairperson of the Board of the National Observatory and Araz Pashayev, the Chairperson of the Board of Educational Student Loan Fund. E.Safarli said that as a result of the mutual understanding, in order to more efficiently use the financial resources allocated for the implementation of the educational student loan system, the National Observatory will analyse identification of the strategic areas of employment in labour market and their further development trends, demand for priority occupations and qualifications, the necessary skills and competencies, evaluation of the situation with adaptation to the labour market of the graduates who have taken the advantage of educational student loan.
A. Pashayev spoke about the importance of collaboration with the National Observatory. He noted that the cooperation between the Fund and the National Observatory will help to determine the priority occupations in the labour market, organize trainings on projected specialties, conduct surveys among students’ parents who benefit from educational student loans, and determine the effectiveness of the borrowed educational loan.
Within the framework of the memorandum, it is intended to act jointly to conduct research on opportunities to expand the scope of education by ensuring access to education for students from families belonging to a socially vulnerable population group, prepare projections of the demand for priority occupations and qualifications, the necessary skills and competencies, taking into account the quantitative and qualitative specifications of labour market, regularly inform the public about the mentioned fields and ensure the interpretation of current problems.
