A Republican scientific-practical conference held at Western Caspian University

A Republican scientific-practical conference on the topic "Training competitive specialists is the main goal of modern education" dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev was held at the Western Caspian University. The representatives of the National Observatory on Labour Market and Social Protection Affairs under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population participated in the conference.

The great leader's incomparable activities to enhance the independence and development of the country, as well as the historical measures taken in the direction of the improvement of education and training of national personnel were mentioned in the conference.

Speaking on the topic "Qualitative analysis of the labour market in Azerbaijan", the deputy chairperson of the Board of the National Observatory, Sannur Aliyev, Ph.D., informed the attendees about the activities of the institution. During his speech Sannur Aliyev briefed on the research works conducted to analyse labour market and determine priority occupations.

The chief specialist of the Analysis and research department of the National Observatory  Elnara Garibova delivered a report on the basics of migration in the context of globalisation and the socio-economic processes caused by the migration of population in Azerbaijan. She talked over the research conducted on this subject by the entity and the impact of labour market on migration process.

The conference continued its work on 8 directions in divisional meetings.
