Baku currently hosts a delegation led by Elif Gokchearslan, the Chairman of the Center for Labour and Social Security Training and Research (ÇASGEM) under the Ministry of Labour and Social Security of the Republic of Türkiye.
Within the frames of their visit, delegation members have met with representatives of the National Observatory on Labour Market and Social Protection Affairs, under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population.
During the meeting, Elnur Safarli, the Chairman of the Board of the National Observatory, noted that relations between the two countries in the field of labour, employment and social protection are constantly expanding. He emphasized that the newly signed document opens wide opportunities for cooperation in the field of training, analysis, and research.
In her turn, E.Gokchearslan drew attention to the importance of expanding cooperation and mutual exchange of experience.
According to the Action Plan for Cooperation, which was signed during the said meeting, the parties envisage organization of joint trainings related to the application of modern methods of corporate governance in the labour market, as well as the formation of healthy labour relations traditions.
The document also reflects cooperation in conducting surveys and monitoring, analysis and research in the relevant activity areas.
The two institutions will also conduct a joint analysis to assess the current situation with informal employment and address its causes and risks, as well as prepare joint proposals for improvement in these areas.
