On the eve of the Novruz Holiday, members of the Board of the National Observatory on Labour Market and Social Protection Affairs under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population paid a visit to the family of Yusif Ramig Budagov, a martyr of the 44-day Patriotic War.
Yusif Budagov, who also took part in the April battles, was martyred during military operations for the liberation of the Fuzuli district. By the orders of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, he was posthumously awarded several high honours, including the medals “For the Motherland,” “For the Liberation of Khojavand,” and “For the Liberation of Fuzuli.”
During the visit, officials honoured Budagov's memory, recognizing his bravery and contributions to the country’s territorial integrity. It was noted that, for his distinguished service in eliminating key enemy positions, Budagov was also awarded the Order “For Service to the Motherland” (3rd degree), as decreed by President Ilham Aliyev.
The meeting underscored the government’s ongoing efforts to support the families of martyrs and war veterans. In accordance with the directives of the President, Budagov’s family has been assigned social payments and provided with housing by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population.
