Cooperation opportunities between the National Observatory and the Educational Student Loan Fund were discussed

A meeting was held between the executivies of the National Observatory on Labour Market and Social Protection Affairs under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population and the Educational Student Loan Fund. The participants were informed about the activities of the National Observatory. It was stated that the National Observatory conducts analysis and prepares projections in labour market and social protection areas in order to ensure effective governance-related decisions in the said areas. The institution makes proposals regarding the preparation of specialists and curriculum development and acts in their implementation as a training base of the Ministry. The activities of the Educational Student Loan Fund were also briefed in the meeting. It was emphasized that the main mission of the Fund is to provide access to education, to create equal opportunities in education and to expand the scope of education by introducing a system of educational student loan. The Fund and the National Observatory discussed the possibilities of cooperation in the areas as identifying highly demanded professions in the labour market, organizing trainings on projected specialties, conducting surveys among students’ parents who benefit from educational student loans, and other topics.
