The National Observatory on Labour Market and Social Protection Affairs organized a seminar titled “The Impact of Climate Change on the Protection of Children’s Rights” at Baku Istanbul Lyceum.
The event, held as part of “Children’s Rights Month” and organized for 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students, provided information on important topics such as “Global Environmental Challenges and Climate Change” and “The Impact of Climate Change on the Labour Market”, as well as discussions on key issues related to children’s rights.
The seminar also highlighted the significance of the COP29 event hosted by our country and the activities conducted as part of the “Year of Solidarity for a Green World”. Additionally, participants were informed about initiatives undertaken by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population in this direction.
At the end of the seminar, students’ questions were answered.
