Members of the Board of the National Observatory on Labour Market and Social Protection Affairs under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population recently visited the family of Sakhavat Mammadov, a martyr of the 44-day Patriotic War.
By the orders of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, Sakhavat Mammadov, who was martyred during the military operations for the liberation of the Aghdara district, was posthumously awarded the medals "For the Motherland", "Brave Warrior", "For the Liberation of Sugovushan.”
During the visit, the officials commemorated Mammadov's memory, reflecting on his service and dedication to the homeland. The meeting also highlighted the government’s ongoing commitment to support the families of martyrs and war veterans. In line with the President's directives, Mammadov's family was assigned social payments and provided with an apartment by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population.
