National Observatory and State Agency for Science and Higher Education Sign Memorandum to Boost Workforce Development

The National Observatory on Labour Market and Social Protection Affairs under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population has entered into a memorandum of cooperation with the State Agency for Science and Higher Education under the Ministry of Science and Education. The document was signed by Elnur Safarli, the Chairman of the Board of the National Observatory, and Ulkar Sattarova, the Director of the State Agency for Science and Higher Education.

The memorandum outlines a collaborative framework aimed at assessing the demand for skilled personnel in alignment with labour market needs. It emphasizes the importance of analyzing employment trends for graduates from both higher and secondary educational institutions.

The memorandum envisages joint activities aimed at preparing and presenting proposals for admission to higher education institutions and introducing new specialties.  It includes a commitment to analyzing graduate performance using statistical data, regularly informing the public about the demand for qualifications, skills, and competencies in the labour market, and providing insights into current challenges.
