The training centred on the theme "Services provided in the field of disability and medical and social rehabilitation of disabled persons"
The National Observatory on Labour Market and Social Protection Affairs, operating under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population, recently conducted its next instalment of the "Social Journalism" training. This session, centred on the theme "Services provided in the field of disability and medical and social rehabilitation of disabled persons," aimed to equip media professionals with comprehensive insights into pertinent social issues.
Hosted at the Training and Development Centre of the National Observatory, the event drew journalists from eight prominent media outlets. Participants delved into discussions surrounding recent reforms in disability and rehabilitation sectors, the process of disability assessment, rehabilitation centres, and the array of services offered within these facilities.
The interactive training also provided a platform for journalists to engage with experts, addressing inquiries and concerns. Following the informative sessions, a workshop gauged participants' comprehension through test tasks and facilitated the preparation of press releases on the subject matter.
Concluding the training, attendees were awarded certificates, signifying their completion of the program. The overarching objective of the "Social Journalism" initiative remains to enrich media professionals' understanding of social protection topics, enhance their professional capacities, and foster robust collaboration within the media landscape.
