Today, the National Observatory on Labour Market and Social Protection Affairs hosted a meeting with members of the Public Council under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population.
Elnur Safarli, Chairman of the National Observatory’s Managing Board, took the helm, presenting an insightful overview of recent research endeavors undertaken by the institution.
A highlight of the meeting was the unveiling of survey findings focusing on the labour market dynamics in the liberated territories. Collaborating closely with employers in these regions, the survey shed light on the professions anticipated to witness heightened demand. Additionally, a comprehensive statistical analysis was showcased, and a comparative analysis of labour resources, which forms the current and future supply in the labour market, on educational levels with the labour and employment subsystem was presented at the meeting.
The meeting also provided a platform for robust exchanges of opinions and suggestions, with the Chairman of the Public Council, Elshad Mammadov, and other council members actively contributing to the dialogue. Emphasizing the necessity of public engagement with the National Observatory's activities, discussions ensued regarding the vital need for regular updates to council members. Opinions were shared and deliberated upon, underscoring the significance of fostering ongoing communication to ensure effective participation in the Observatory's endeavors.
