National Observatory Hosts Public Hearing in Shamakhi

The National Observatory on Labour Market and Social Protection Affairs, under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population, recently hosted a public hearing in Shamakhi.

The event, which centred around the theme “Studying the Labour Market in the Regions and Strengthening Workforce Potential”, saw active participation from employers and educators across the Shamakhi, Agsu, and Gobustan districts.

During the session, attendees received comprehensive insights into the Observatory's activities, global labour market trends, the specific needs of local employers, and the critical role of career specialization in employment opportunities. In addition, key challenges related to the regional labour market were discussed in detail.

The event also allowed participants to raise questions and engage in dialogue about various labour and employment issues. This event was organized in accordance with the Law on Public Participation, aiming to foster greater public involvement in shaping labour policies.
