The National Observatory on Labour Market and Social Protection Affairs, under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population, recently hosted a meeting with officials from the Department of Vocational Education Policy of the Ministry of Science and Education and the State Agency for Vocational Education.
During the meeting, participants were briefed on the ongoing analyses conducted by the Observatory regarding the education levels of the country’s workforce. The findings of these analyses have highlighted key areas of demand in the labour market.
A major outcome of the meeting was the agreement to initiate a comprehensive study by the National Observatory. The study will focus on determining both current and future labour market needs, with the aim of informing the development of a student admission plan for vocational education programs.
The meeting also provided a platform for discussing potential areas of cooperation between the involved parties.
