A meeting was recently held at the National Observatory for Labour Market and Social Protection Affairs, under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population of Azerbaijan, with the members of the evaluation mission for the "Employment Support Project," which is financed by the World Bank. The meeting also included consultant Walid Madhoun.
During the session, participants were briefed on the latest research findings from the Observatory, focusing on labour market analysis. Discussions centred on determining the demand for specific professions and specialities, the development potential of key employment sectors, and the ongoing efforts in these areas.
Additionally, the evaluation of the upcoming stage of the "Employment Support Project" was discussed. The group exchanged insights on conducting surveys and monitoring efforts, in collaboration with the Observatory, to identify the essential skills for professions in the labour market. They also reviewed the analysis of these results and explored future cooperation opportunities.
