The Azerbaijan Employment Support project is jointly implemented by Azerbaijan Public Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population and the World Bank. The project aims to help the most vulnerable people (the persons with disabilities who are registered as unemployed, family members of martyrs, internally displaced people, targeted state social assistance recipients, women, youth and other people from vulnerable groups) attain decent employment, by promoting self-employment opportunities in labor markets with the help of the World Bank funds.
Within the framework of the project, the National Observatory cooperates with the World Bank in the areas of survey - monitoring, analysis, research and training.
The World Bank, within the frame of the project, also organizes seminars and webinars related to the above-mentioned fields in order to strengthen the institutional capacity of the National Observatory.
The NO analysed the Employment Skills Survey questionnaire prepared by the World Bank and provided appropriate suggestions. In addition, the Country Report for three regions on Targeted Social Assistance (TSA) prepared by the World Bank was reviewed by the NO.
