A training held within the framework of the project "Support to pension reform in Azerbaijan - Phase 2"

The Training Center of the National Observatory on Labour Market and Social Protection Affairs under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population hosted a two-day training on the topic “Pension: methods and risks in a comparative perspective”.

The training was held within the framework of the project “Support for pension reform in Azerbaijan - Phase 2” on the Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between the European Union and Azerbaijan. The event was attended by the representatives of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population, State Social Protection Fund under the ministry, DOST Digital Innovation Center, as well as the employees of the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Economy, and the Ministry of Justice.

During the training, Professor Yves Stevens from the University of Leuven provided information on the topics “Methods of pension funding”, “Models and management of social security”, “Pension-related risks”. Throughout the event the participants' questions were answered.

At the end, the participants were awarded certificates.
