Officials convened in a virtual session to discuss the progress of the "DOST Mufattish" project, a collaborative effort between the State Labour Inspection Service under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population and the National Observatory on Labour Market and Social Protection Affairs under the ministry.
The meeting was attended by the representatives from the Labour Policy Department of the Ministry, the Labour Protection Centre under the State Labour Inspection Service, the Azerbaijan Trade Union Confederation (ATUC), the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of Azerbaijan, and members of "Marsol Group."
The meeting underscored the critical importance of the project. The project’s primary objective is to conduct a comprehensive assessment of current labour relations and human resources practices within enterprises. Additionally, it seeks to provide targeted training and consultations in relevant areas, aid employers in adhering to labour legislation and establishing legally compliant labour relations.
Additionally, the project aims to offer support in overcoming challenges enterprises face when implementing the Labour and Employment Subsystem in workplaces.
The meeting also covered future collaboration prospects regarding project execution, addressing queries and concerns from all involved parties.
