A meeting with schoolchildren of the martyrs of the Patriotic War was held at the National Observatory on Labour Market and Social Protection Affairs.
At the meeting, 9th, 10th and 11th grade students preparing for their final and entrance exams received comprehensive information on trends in choosing a specialty, guidance on career selection, labour market requirements, and the essential skills needed to support their education.
Elnur Safarli, Chairman of the Board of the National Observatory, also spoke about the activities of the organisation. He noted that the institution regularly conducts surveys in schools across Baku and the regions to assess the vocational orientation of children.
These surveys, conducted among 9th, 10th and 11th grade students, explore key issues such as educational prospects of students, factors influencing their choice of profession and specialty, elements contributing to purposeful career decisions. Psychological tests are also utilized as part of this process.
Then the opinions of the schoolchildren were heard, and their questions regarding the choice of specialty were answered.
The event concluded with a commemorative photo.
