A high-level meeting took place at the National Observatory on Labour Market and Social Protection Affairs, operating under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population, with the delegation led by Kiyomiddin Davlatzoda, the Deputy Minister of Labour, Migration, and Employment of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Elnur Safarli, the Chairman of the Managing Board, provided a comprehensive overview of the National Observatory's activities, highlighting its role as a national social observation centre dedicated to analysing the labour market and identifying demand for future professions and qualifications. Safarli also discussed the Observatory's efforts to assess informal employment and mitigate associated risks, as well as its involvement in professional training program development and implementation.
The Tajik delegation received detailed insights into the results of surveys, methodological approaches applied during analysis, and forecast preparation during the meeting. Deputy Minister Davlatzoda emphasized the importance of the mutual exchange of experience between institutions in labour and employment analysis.
Discussions during the meeting also centred on prospects for future cooperation, reflecting a shared commitment to advancing labour market research and collaboration between Azerbaijan and Tajikistan.
